    I am reasonably fit. I am, however, pale--always and forever--and I am not sure what I'm supposed to be "ready" for, but if it be intercourse with Snoop Dogg, then, no, I am not ready, nor will I ever be ready.

    Sorry to bring this up, but I'm kinda curious... did the plagiariist take the story down herself or was it removed by ff.net staff?

    And Jules, you're gonna have to stop giving us excerpts. Unless, y'know, you update an hour later. They make the wait absolutely unbearable.

    ^ I love the nickname Snaps too :) It's unique. I remember there was a time in fanfiction when Lily's nickname would always be 'Lily-flower' *shudder* (Ccugh*Luke*cough) or something to that effect a few years back, or odd stuff like 'Lilypad' or 'Lily-pea'; thank God those days are over.

    And it makes a nice change from all the generic ones like 'Red' (which, btw, I find really odd; my best friend has red hair but NO-ONE calls her 'Red'. Ever. Yet in fanfiction, in practically every story, the other characters can't seem to get past the fact that Lily has red hair)and 'Lils' etc. Snaps is most defintely unique. And the best one I've ever come across.

    @Bree&Jules--I must say that I would rather have a Katy Perry song to represent me. I've got Miley Cyrus. MILEY CYRUS. She makes Tennessee look like nothing more than a boatload of farming/singing hillbilly-sluts. Not okay.

    Also, if you do not update soon, there might be drastic measures taken. Any more teasers like this and my brain is going to die.

    Haha, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, you poor poor girls. Canadians don't really have songs that represent different cities or provinces. This song does say Montreal in it though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8PZ8-cpWc4. Owen Pallet is love.
    Hope the chapter is coming along swimmingly. Especially since it's supposed to be -30C here tomorrow, I'll be locked up in my apartment all weekend. So hopefully a new chapter will ward off any cabin fever I'll be experiencing.

    @ Jenn: I'm very jealous of Canadians, Owen Pallett is WONDERFUL! I wish NC had an adorable violin player to run around singing songs about us, all we have are oldies and Ben Folds!

    BUT more importantly, I'm thrilled that there will be an update soon! Your story is wonderful and I can't wait to read more.

    @chubbypotato: YES YES YES. I hate Carlotta but I feel like that's the only way to get Lily jealous enough to DO something!
