ReplyDelete^ Yeah I'm hearing it for the first time too. And I DO like it, but I also really like the original (yes, I love Sugababes - don't diss); they're very different so they can't really be compared, I don't think.

Awww, I love the Sugababes version too. It has an ungodly number of plays on my iTunes. I just also really like the Snow Patrol version, too, and I thought others who hadn't heard it might enjoy the cover.
ReplyDelete"About You Now" is very lyrically relevant for the chapter. And it's not really spoilers to say that it relates to Marlene.
"The Scientist" and "Save Me" are more... thematically relevant. They have a relevant mood, I would say.
Yeah I did enjoy the cover very much! I'm not raelly a fan of the Sugababes, but this version is very good. And yes different too... angsty-ish. Looks to be a very upsetting day for Marlene :'( I feel sorry for her already (even though I kinda feel like she kinda deserves it (don't hate me!)).

Snow Patrol cover...gahh! Dare I say better than the original...The other songs are good too, though I don't like that cover of The Scientist much.
