It's a really weird chapter, and I don't know my own feelings on it... I think I'll like it better once it has all played out.
Son of a bitch, I forgot to thank the reviewers at the end of the chapter. I was just so stressed by the Brits! Kidding, I love you. And thank you to all the reviewers!
I sincerely hope I can get Chapter 29 up before the New Year, but we'll see.
Other things: Bree, whenever you read this-- you blogged the gif of JGL smashing dishes. I need to think of a prize for that.

ReplyDeleteI thought that I had gotten past my fanfiction phase... but then I started reading LAT. and oh no I haven't at all.
The biggest compliment that I feel I can give you is that I honestly have NO problem believing that what you are writing is a feasible prequel to the HP series. With the possible exception of Wormtail, all of the characters coincide (to me) with how JKR portrays them. And truth be told, I have read many a fanfic with no discernable plot, but that does not apply at all here. Your writing is amazing, and I love you for it.
THAT BEING SAID. OH MY GOD WOMAN, UPDATE MORE QUICKLY. <33 The past two weeks since I started reading this have been absolute agony, and I just WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. So yes. Good thoughts coming your way from me, particularly since I'm hoping you're right when you say you plan on updating before New Year's. How about for Xmas instead?? xD

ReplyDeleteI'll review properly tomorrow, but I adored Sirius saying "Moony, tell him why we care" and "Tell him the point, Moony." Clearly, all matters of interest go to the more intelligent of the two.
Except the cliffhanger + your long updates = anxiety attacks for who knows how long.
