“Well, if it were me,” began Marlene, “I’d like to find out by having one of my mates scheme to keep it a secret from me while I’m in the next room, but... oh wait...” 
 “Well in that case, you’re welcome,” retorted Donna coolly.

    Oy vey, my poor eyes. This background is not kind to epilepsy, Jules. Not that I'm epileptic, but the point still stands...

    I'm going house-sitting in about an hour or so again - this is seriously my life - so I'm using my few internet accessible hours to say well done on another excellent chapter, Jules, and I'm really excited to see what comes next in the way of Marlene. Which surprises me, because I don't particularly enjoy her character, but there you have it. And, you have quite possibly turned me into the only person on this blog who wants to see a Lily/Carlotta alliance to take down Shelley. That scene in the stands sparked all sorts of mad ideas in my brain.

    Well, got to dash again. Lovely seeing you all...

    ^ Agree with everything Todd says ( except the background. I LOVE the new background, and hope you keep this one!).

    And also, I feel like it's time we demand to see Reg. It's been so long since we've had a real long chat with him. Y'know? There was only a brief cameo from him in Keepdown's therapy seesion... apart from that, it's been ages and ages and aaaaaages. I need more Reg.

    As for Reg, he is scheduled to make a cameo or two in the next three chapters, and then he'll be a major part of Chapter 36. (And he'll be pursuing a girl).

    And so the excerpts begin :D Excited for some Marlene time, not so much Stebbins. Though I have to say I was really pleased to get some James time last chapter. I don't know if it's because of the gap between chapters or the content of the recent chapters and lack of James pov but I feel like we've been kind of losing James recently, like I was feeling least connected to him of pretty much all the characters which is unusually. So yeah, it was nice to hear from him! haha

    @516, I totally know what you mean. Besides writing "Snaps," when I wrote the last scenes of Chapter 32, I felt like I hadn't been inside of James's head (ahem) in aaaages.

    34 and 35 will have lots of James POV tho.Jamesplosions, if you will.

    Excited for the Marlene-oriented chapter. I love her, she's so sweet it's almost ridiculous. Hopefully she'll get her happy time. Soon.

    @Frenchie, I kind of thought that too when Shelley told her she's lucky Lily's never fancied James.

    Yeah, it was an OMFG moment ^^ and also when she wonders if Lily looks at him the same way she does.
    I hope it won't end with Carlotta telling James that she feels he loves Lily and she loves him back, so she lets him go. I like disliking Carlotta too much ^^
